Growing up I was always intrigued by health and wellness which what got me interested in studying kinesiology. I stayed active through dance and after school clubs as a kid but now as got older I find it easier to stay active through the gym. During different points of quarantine however, it's been challenging to maintain a well balanced health and wellness routine. So its been insightful and timely to create this source on how to help others and myself combat this challenge!

Ever since quarantine started, I found it difficult to remain fit and strong without the gym. I tried to find ways to stay motivated by watching a lot of Chloe Ting's fitness videos on youtube. Her home workouts have helped me enjoy working out, and staying consistent. Although eating healthy was and is still hard for me, I try my best to restrict myself from most high carbohydrate and sugary foods. I hope our site will motivate you to make healthy exercise and eating habits while at home.

I have always been passionate about health, fitness and wellness which is why I went into kinesiology. Going to a gym has never been my preference, and I have always done at home work outs so I was excited to help build a website around this topic! I have seen my sisters' lives change during this quarantine as they have begun to eat better and exercise. It is not easy but I know that the tips and websites we have shared will help!

I have always been in sports since I was about 4 or 5 years old all the way until my senior year in high school. In high school, I would sprain my ankle and go to the trainer and they would give me exercises. This peaked my interest and that's when I knew I wanted to go the kinesiology route and help people that had injuries. I have never been a big gym fan and that's why I was in to sports. But I tried to go last year and I found that it was harder to get myself up to go rather than the workouts. Since COVID-19, things have been more difficult with the working out aspect due to gyms being closed. This website was very informative with all the things I came across especially because of the pandemic. All theses tips and exercises are helpful and you can do them right in the comfort of your home for a healthier mind and body.

Sports, outdoor activities, nature and healthy living have always intrigued my interest. Studying Kinesiology at UNLV mentors me to transform these interest into a career of my passion. As COVID-19 hit the world by storm, it was difficult to implement a fit lifestyle with stay at home orders. Therefore, my team and I decided to create a website to help motivate others on staying fit and mentally healthy. It was such an interesting topic to research and I hope this helps everyone to stay motivated and mentally aware during these tough times. I, myself, learned a lot with the help of my team!
